Are you passionate about performing arts, cultural diplomacy, and event production for the non governmental organization? The Primavera Foundation of Armenia is looking for a Armenian based Events Coordinator.
An Events Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing events in RA, and potentially abroad, such as lectures, master classes, round tables, performances, fundraisers, etc. We welcome applications from recent graduates or final years bachelor’s or master’s degree students interested in arts, culture, and the NGO sector. This is a project-based role with the potential for a full-time position within the next 12 months.
The candidate must permanently reside in Armenia, be native in Armenian and fluent in English, and be capable of multitasking and prioritizing. The Events Coordinator works directly with the Educational Academy Producer, Local Events Coordinator and reports to the Foundation Executive Director.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Foundation’s team to plan and run events in Yerevan and Armenian regions: travel support, venues, schedule development, certificates, and other events material
- Select, book, and ensure payments in connection with event production and coordination.
- Coordinate event logistics, registrations, and ticketing processes.
- Arrange audio/video recording and photo shooting, and communicate with audio- video production teams.
- Travel to Armenian regions for event production with artists and experts.
- Manage event timelines and ensure all activities run smoothly.
- Support event participants, ensure materials are timely in place, charges processed according to terms/agreements.
- Collect feedback and coordinate post-event evaluations.
- Assist in maintaining databases, reviewing events, and creating reports.
- Attend Primavera Foundation’s meetings and local online and offline events as required.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and native Armenian (Russian is a plus).
- Strong organizational, communication, and text writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Google Docs), Notion (WorldPress and experience in CRM and mailing systems is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree or final year student.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel around Armenia for up to 5 days.
- Basic knowledge in social media management and marketing.
- 1+ years of event planning and coordination experience, or administrative position is a plus.
