CHAMBER MUSIC SUMMER SCHOOL BY PROFESSOR IRINA KRASOTINA

LOCATION:

Yerevan

Costs:

Free of charge for Armenian citizens

An ensemble is invaluable for learning collaboration and communication on stage, building mutual trust and understanding, creating additional social connections, and building friendships for young musicians. Summer school format provides a safe and collaborative space for musicians to enhance their skills and explore chamber repertoire for future collaborations under professional guidance. On top of everything, this is an opportunity for musicians who won’t make a career as a soloist to remain on stage and pursue a successful artistic life. We plan to run the school annually.

How Does It Work?
  1. Applications collection through an open call, students selection, ensembles formation
  2. Six days of daily work with professor Krasotina, mastering the performance skills and working on the assigned piece
  3. Summer school reporting concert in front of a jury and an audience
Project Development Potential
  • Based on the Jury’s decision on the potential of the ensemble, the Primavera Foundation may provide one of the new-born ensembles with an opportunity to perform in Armenian regions in the series of free performances for the audience.
  • Publishing of Armenian edition of Chamber Ensemble tutorial (author – Irina Krasotina)
