We would like to better understand the current situation concerning classical and Armenian ethnic music education for children and youth throughout Armenia. To this end we intend to carry out a four-month study, conducted by means of an online questionnaire and face-to-face interviews. The specific objective of the study is to identify high-potential young Armenian musicians and their teachers. We also seek to collect data on the most active and important regional competitions, festivals, and master class organizers.
