YOUNG ARMENIAN MUSICIANS TO APPEAR ON PRESTIGIOUS GLOBAL PLATFORMS
Armenia is rich in talent, especially in classical music, but young musicians struggle to build international careers due to limited exposure. To support Armenian musicians aged 18-29 who studied at the Yerevan State Conservatory and live in Armenia, several organizations joined forces: the U.S.-based music label Prima Classic, the Primavera Foundation of Armenia, the Armenopole online platform, and the Armenian Philharmonic.
Prima Classic co-founder and sound engineer Edgardo Vertanessian, who has recorded over 100 classical albums and worked with stars like Madonna and Rihanna, arrived in Armenia to launch the project. Out of 16 applicants, five musicians were selected.
