Pianist Philipp Kopachevsky Inspired Young Pianists in Ijevan
On April 25, 2024, the Ijevan Children’s Music School welcomed pianist Philipp Kopachevsky, a soloist of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic and a prize-winner at international competitions, for a series of piano master classes. Mr. Kopachevsky received an extremely warm welcome in Ijevan both from students and teachers.
Eight young pianists performed pieces by N. Rakov, Bertini, Mendelssohn, Berkovich, Cherni, Burgmüller, and Mozart.
This event was made possible thanks to the Ijevan Children’s Music School and its director, Mrs. Aida Sargsyan. Their dedication to fostering young talent in the region has been instrumental in providing opportunities for aspiring musicians to learn from world-class artists like Philipp Kopachevsky.
