The entrance to all events for the audience is free.

COMPETITION RULES

The competition consists of three stages.

First Stage: Contestants will be selected via video in the application form. Note that applications without a video will not be considered. All participants who advance to the semifinals will be notified personally

Second Stage: The Semifinals will be held in Ijevan, Gyumri, and Yerevan.

Finals: The Finals will take place in Yerevan.

Age Categories 

I. Up to 9 years old (inclusive)
II. 10-12 years old (inclusive)
III. 13-16 years old (inclusive)

Repertoire 

Upon the applicant’s choice, 2-3 pieces are up to 15 minutes of performance.

Semi-Finals Prizes

  • Diplomas for Laureates 
  • Prizes for classical guitarists from D’Addario & Co.
  • A collection of classical guitar exercises book recommended by our Mentors 
  • Financial Grant for the teachers of the 1st place winners (I Age Category)

Only the first and second-prize winners from each age category will be invited to the Finals. During the Finals, the contestants are expected to perform the same repertoire as during the Semifinals. 

Final Prizes

  • Grand-Prix: Classical Guitar of the cost no less than 150 000 AMD
  • Special Financial Grant for Grand-Prix Winner’s teacher 150 000 AMD (I Age Category)
  • Reserved free place to participate in the Chamber Ensemble Summer School by Professor Irina Krasotina: Selected final laureates will be invited to master their ensemble skills during the Chamber Music Summer School led by Professor Irina Krasotina
  • Prizes for classical guitarists from D’Addario & Co
  • Diplomas for Laureates & Winner

Before submitting your application, please make sure that you have the following at your disposal:

1. Contact details of your teacher.
2. An open-to-everyone link of your recent performance on any social media platform, such as YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram.
3. Copy of the passport/birth certificate. 

Successful applicants will be notified by email and announced on the Primavera Foundation Armenia social media profiles on June 10, 2024.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By submitting the application, an applicant accepts and agrees with the competition’s Terms and Conditions and gives permission to proceed, store, and use the personal information, photos, and videos for the technical documentation, official website, and social media announcements.

  1. The application is free for Armenian citizens. If you hold any other nationality, the application fee is a donation of $30 to the Primavera Foundation Armenian. The donation must be made via our website form, and donation confirmation must be provided along with the application. 
  2. All musicians born in 2009 or later may apply for the competition.
  3. Applicants must be fluent in English/Russian and Armenian (mother tongue).
  4. Every applicant must submit along with the application:
    1. Contact details of the teacher.
    2. Open-to-everyone link of your recent performance on any social media platform, such as YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram.
    3. Copy of the passport/birth certificate. 
  5. The competition is run in person. All successful applicants shall arrange their travel and cover their travel expenses to the competition venue and back home, as well as accommodation costs (if applicable). 
  6. The competition organizing committee reserves the right to use participants’ photos and video materials. After the competition auditions, all submitted video materials and results will be published on the Primavera Foundation Armenia website. 
  7. The competition organizing committee accepts only applications submitted using the Primavera Foundation Armenia website form by June 7, 2024, by 18:00

COSTS

Application fee:
FREE for Armenian citizens. 
The application fee for non-Armenian citizens is $30.

Travel expenses: 
The successful applicants independently cover their travel expenses and accommodation costs. The Primavera Foundation Armenia is not responsible for any costs associated with this journey.

Lecturer at Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory and Yerevan State Pedagogical University named after Kh. Abovyan. Founder and teacher of the guitar class at P.I. Tchaikovsky Music School.

Laureate of International Competitions, member of various Republican and international competitions and festivals juries.

43 music compositions and works (6 books). Author of various scientific articles, educational, and methodology programs for YSC, music schools, colleges, and other universities.
